Lois and Turner married when she was sixteen years old and she workedbeside him. After they had paid for their farm and raised four children,she went to work as a nurse's aid at a nearby hospital. After severalyears, she enrolled in a Practical Nurse's Program. She finished, passedher boards and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked as along asher health would allow.
She loved the Lord was a member of the Linn Baptist Church for over fortyyears and the Ruleville Baptist Church the last seven years of her life.She served the Lord and her churches faithfully.
Lois was ill the last eight years of her life. Times were good when shecould keep her blood count up. She is buried in the Linn Cemetery inDoddsville Mississippi.
