Annie was 'a sweet lady', small and gentle. She usuallywore a blac k velvet
band with a broach around her neck. She was very proud, butnot haugh ty. Her
house was beautifully clean. When people came 'to tea' sheloved to w ait on
them, 'hand, foot and finger'.
