The Will of JOSEPH TITT OF WYLYE 1863

L Joseph Titt of the Parish of Wylye in the County ofWilts, Yeoman r evoking all other wills made by me do makethis my last Will and Test ament and do hereby appoint Mr.John Waters and Mr. Stephen Titt bot h of the parish ofWylye Yeomen to be my Executors and do give them f ivepounds each for their trouble. And after they havedischarge d out of my personal state all my just debtsfuneral and Testamentar y expenses I give devise andbequeath unto my Executors aforesaid al l the property ofwhich I may die possessed real or personal upon tru st topermit the use and enjoyment of all such parts
thereof as shall not yield income and to pay the interestdividends o r annual produce of all such parts thereof asshall yield income unt o my dear Wife Ann Titt during theterm of her natural life. And aft er the decease of mysaid Wife I request that my said Executors wil l divide thewhole of my property in manner following.
I give devise and bequeath my Freehold Cottage and gardenand apperte nances thereto belonging now in the occupationand tenancy of my so n William Titt to my daughter HarriettTitt her heirs executors admin istrators and assignsabsolutely for ever. Also after the decease o f my saidwife I give and bequeath my Copyhold estate consisting of my House garden Orchard Yard Barn Stable Water Meadow Arableland an d appurtenances thereto belonging situate at Wylyeaforesaid unto m y son William Titt aforesaid but that thesaid William Titt in consid eration of this bequest shallallow give and pay in lawful money unt o my daughter JaneThorn the wife of Thorimas Thom of Horningsham wit hintwelve months after the decease of my saidwife the sum of f200 o f lawful money free of all charges. And furtherafter the decease o f my said wife I give and bequeath mylive and dead stock my Househol d goods furniture platemoney and monies whatsoever is not herein bef ore disposedof the same to be valued by some competent person and divided or the produce thereof equally share and share alikebetween m y three children namely my son William Titt andmy daughter Jane Tho m and my daughter Harriet Tittaforesaid. In witness whereof I h ave here unto set myhand this 30th day of
April 1860.
