JOHN TITT of Tisbury 1865
This is the Last Will and Testament of me John Titt of EastTisbury i n the County of Wilts, stonemason.
I devise all my real estate wheresoever situate and overwhich I hav e a disposing power unto James Lush Jnr of EastTisbury aforesaid who m I have hereinafter named myExecutor. In trust to dispose of m y said real estateas soon as convenient after my decease either by p ublicsale or private contract as he shall deem most advantageousan d to convey surrender or assure the real estate so soldunto or accor ding to the direction of the purchaser orpurchasers thereof and to a pply the purchase money (afterdeducting the expenses of sale conveya nce and surrender)in manner hereinafter directed. I bequeath my sil verwatch and appendages my barometer and salting silt unto mysaid E xecutor In Trust to give my son James Tittpossession thereof for hi s own use and benefit. Ibequeath a chest of drawers night convenien ce and thewhole of my table libnen unto my said Executor In Trust t ogive my daughter Elizabeth Kerzia Perry possession thereoffor he r own use and benefit. I bequeath my four posterbedstead Feather Be d and Bed Linen my Clock and one otherchest of drawers unto my sai d Executor In Trust to give mydaughter Deborah Titt possession there of for her own useand benefit and I direct my said Executor to pay m y saiddaughter herein last named the sum of sixty pounds out ofth e proceeds of the sale of my real estate and residuarypersonal prope rty. I bequeath the residue of my personalestate to my said Executo r upon trust to get in suchresiduary personal estate and convert int o money such partthereof as shall not consist of money as soon as ex pedientafter my decease and to hold the money to arise therefromtog ether with the purchase money for my said real estate(after paymen t of sixty pounds to my daughter as beforedirected) In Trust for m y said son James Titt and for mysaid daughters Elizabeth Kerzia Perr y and Deborah Tittequally between them share and share a&e. I direc t thatevery receipt given by my Executor shall exonerate theperso n taking the same from all liability to see to theapplication or dis posal of the monies therein mentioned tohave been received and I her eby appoint the said JamesLush Jnr Executor of this my ast Will an d exempt him fromliability for losses occurring without his wilful d efaultand authorize him to retain all expenses incidental to theexe cutorship. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set myhand this twent y fourth day of January 1859.

proved at Salisbury on the 6th February 1866 by the oath ofJames Lus h (formerly the younger) the sole Executor towhom administration wa s granted. The Testator John Tittwas late of East Tisbury in the Co unty of Wilts Stonemasonand died on the 24th December 1865 at East T isburyaforesaid.
