In 1847 Andrew joined the Wiltshire Constabulary. (W CRecords).
In 1848 he became a constable 2nd class.
1854 marks Andrews wedding at Market Lavington, where hissister Mar y Ann was a
witness. Andrew was stationed at Corsley.
1857 Andrew becomes a constable 1st class & in 1858 he ispromoted t o Sergeant
2nd class. 1866 marks his promotion to Sergeant 1st class,and in 188 1 he
lived in Wanborough.

In 1883 he retired from the Constabulary.
