The Monumental Inscriptions show that the church interior records - Thomas Baskerville, died 12 Feb 1717, of Richardson, who had 12 sons by his wife Mary.

In 1698 Thomas was the High Sheriff of Wiltshire

Thomas has been linked to these parents because his grandchild has the name Glanville. I have been unable, so far,to establish any other connection, but there must be one, as the boys name was Francis Glanville Baskerville.

The MI's for Winterborn Bassett show that in the interior of the church the following record exists.

Baskerville Thomas died 12 Feb 1717-18 aged 76 of Richardson. Mary died 3 May 1724 aged 81 John -son Richard-son Francis- son Walter - son Thomas - son Thomas - son Septimus- son Simon -son William - son John - son John -son George- son died 20 Mar 1755 aged 13 Walter - son

Thomas is recorded as being the Lord of the Manor of Winterborn. MI's f or Winterborn.

Here lyeth ye bodie of Simon Baskerville, Esquier, ye 8 sonne of Sir Walter Baskerville, of Eardisley, in the county of Hereford, Knight, which Simon married the widow of Willian Hutchins of Richardston, who died 1602.

Here also lyeth ye bodie of WIlliam Baskerville, of Wanborough, sone of the above said Simon Baskerville, who deceased at Richardston, ye 29 day of Sept 1604

also Thomas, Son of William Hutchins, of Richardston, who died May 27 1607

Here lyeth the bodie of Thomas Baskerville of Richardston, Es. who departed this life Feb 12 Anno Dom. 1717/18 aged 76.
who had 12 sons by his wife Mary, viz, John, Richard, Francis, Walter, Thomas, Thomas, Septimus, Simon, William, John, George, Walter.

Also Mary, his wife, died May ye 3 1724, aged 81 years.
