The Will of John Baskerville of Burton Hill
The seventh day of February 1731, I John Baskerville of Burton Hill in the parish of Malmesbury, being in perfect health and memory, doth make this my last will and testament as follows. Imprimis. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca Robbins, and to her three children, Makepeace Curtis, Charles Robins and Elizabeth Robins all the goods that I had with my last wife to be disposed among them, hereafter named, as he shall think fit.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca Robins twelve pounds of lawful money.
Item I give unto my granddaughter Makepeace Curtis ten pounds of lawful money and unto her children ten shillings a piece.
Item. I give unto my grandson Charles Robins ten pounds, and unto my granddaughter Elizabeth Robins ten pounds.
Item. I give unto my son John Baskerville's children five shillings a piece.
Item. I give unto my son James Baskerville's sons, Thomas Baskerville and John Baskerville, ten pounds a piece.
Item. I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Frankling ten pounds and to her husband Henry Frankling one shilling, and unto her daughter Mary Frankling fifty shillings.
Item. I give unto my son in law Charles Robins one shilling.
Item. I give unto my son Thomas Baskerville of London, fifty shillings.
Item. I give unto our poor friend Thomas Sealey ten shillings.
Item. I give unto a poor friendly woman of Dodmarton ten shillings.
Item. All the rest of my goods, chattles and chattols not herin given and bequeathed, I give and bequeath unto my son Ezekiall Baskerville who I make my whole and sole executor of this my will. And I do desire my son Thomas Baskerville to be assistant unto my son Ezekiall Baskerville in performance of this my will and all other wills by me formerly made, I do utterly revoke and publish this to be my last will.
