Harold Edgar. He married a Canadian girl, and lived inEdmonton, Alberta.
Harold EDGAR Titt, was born at Warminster in 1883 and travelled to Canada in the 1910's. He settled in Montreal, Quebec and married Ada (also spelled Aida) Emily Wilson in Montreal about 1919. That is when they changed the name. There's your Canadian girl but we don't have much info on her--no exact dates. Her family were immigrants from England. She was born in Bedforshire, UK in the 1880's. I have a lovely old photo of her about 2 years old. Harold was a civil engineer and worked in electronics until he moved to Sydney where he worked in sales. He died in 1953 in Sydney. I never met him as I was born in 1954.
Their four children were all born in Montreal but the family moved to Sydney, Nova Scotia in the 1930's and stayed there. Both Edgar and Ada Emily are buried in the Anglican church yard in Sydney.

1. Wallis Edgar, born 1920, died in the late 1990's in Toronto. Never married and had no children. He served in Britain during the war and had some contact with our British family then. On returning to Canada (Toronto) after the war, he attended art college and worked for a while for Eaton's but later worked at Massey Ferguson.
2. Alan Wilson, born 1923, died in 1973 or 74 in Sydney. He had a grocery store and his mother lived with him after Harold's death. He married very late in life and had no children.
3. Marion Emily, born 1925, died 2012 in Connecticut. She married an American, John Vivian, and moved to New York, then to Conn. She had two children, Harold (Hal), and Jan. I don't have dates for their births but they are about 10 years younger than me, so would have been born in the 1960's. Hal never married, no children. Jan married--her surname is Kielec-- has one girl, Samantha (Sammy) and is divorced. Sammy is around 11 or 12. I knew Marion very well, she was like a mother to me.
4. Ross John (my father) born 1929 and died 1986. He trained as an RCMP officer and was posted to Newfoundland where he married my mother, Janet Ruth Petrie, born 1933 in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, died 2012 in Edmonton, Alberta. Ross left the Mounties and was in wholesale dry goods sales in Newfoundland. They had three children:
1. Lyn Marion, born 1954, in Florida, USA. Married John Robert Silverio Pirquet later in life, no children. Lives in Victoria, British Columbia.
2. Roy Harold, born 1955 in Grand Falls, Newfoundland. He married Cynthia Ruth Godden, born in late 1950's in Comfort Cove, Newfoundland. They had three girls: Robin, Megan and Danielle. I don't have birth dates but could write them to ask, if you would like. We are not close. He and his family moved to Edmonton in 1993 and our mother (Janet) moved to live with them.
3. Mark Harris, born 1971 in Grand Falls. He is married to Erica Hollette, born in Leaf Rapids, Manitoba. They have one boy, Hunter Harrison Tait, born 2014. They now live in Toronto.
