KNOW ALL MEN by these Presents that Mrs Sarah Titt ofSutton Veny i n the County of Wilts Widow, WilliamWhitmarsh of Warminster in the C ounty of WiltsSupefintendant of Police and Francis Cartmail of Warminster aforesaid servingman are held and firmly bound untothe Right R everend Father in God
Edward by Divine permission Lord Bishop of Salisbury in thepenal su m of Four Hundred Pounds of good and lawful Moneyof Great Britain t o be paid unto the said Lord Bishop orto his his Executors Administr ators or Assigns to whichPayment well and truly to be made. We obli ge ourselvesand each and every of us by himself and themselves for t hewhole our and each and every of our Heirs Executors andAdministra tors firmly by these Presents. Sealed with ourseats dated the Seven th day of September in the Sixth Yearof the Reign of our Sovereign L ady Victoria by the Graceof God of the United Kingdom of Great Brita in and IrelandQueen Defender of the Faith. THE CONDITION of this Obligation is such That if the abovebounden Sa rah Titt the Widow Relict and also Administratorof all and singula r the Goods Chattels and Credits ofSolomon Titt late of Sutton Ven y aforesaid Intestatedeceased do make or cause to be made a true an d perfectInventory of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to theHands Possessi on or knowledge of her the said Sarah Tittor into the Hands and Poss ession of any Person or Personsfor her and the same so made do exhib it or cause to beexhibited into the Registry of the Right Reverend T he LordBishop aforesaid at or before this last day of March nextens uing and the same Goods Chattels and Credits of thesaid deceased a t the time of his death which at any timeafter shall come to the han ds or possession of the saidSarah Titt or into the hands and possess ion of any otherPerson or persons for her do well and truly administ eraccording to Law. And further do make or cause to be madea tru e and just of her said Administration at or beforethe last day of Se ptember 1843 and all the Rest andResidue of the said Goods Chattel s and Credits which shallbe found remaining upon the said Administra tors the samebeing first examined and allowed by the Judge or Judge sfor the time being of the said Court shall deliver and payunto suc h Person or Persons respectively as the said Judgeor Judges by his o r their Decree or Sentance pursuant tothe true intent and Meaning o f a late lot of Parliamentmade in the two and twentieth and three an d twentiethyears of the Reign of our late Sovereign Lord King Charle sthe Second.
for the better settling of Intestates Estates shall limitand appoin t And if it shall hereafter appear that any lastWill and Testament w as made by the said deceased and theExecutor or Executors therein na med do exhibit the sameinto the said Court making Request to have i t allowed andapproved accordingly if the said Sarah Titt above bound enbeing the required do render and deliver the said Lettersof Admin istration Approbation of such Testament beingfirst had and made in t he said Court then this obligationto be void or else to remain in fu ll Force and Virtue.
