In the Utica City Directory in 1889 Sidney was recorded as being a teamster, living at 102 &1/2 Kossuth Ave. In 1890 he was a 'presser' living a t 151 Kossuth Ave. In 1891 he was living in 410 South St and in1892 & 3 at 383 Tilden Ave. In 1894 he lived at 65 Ontario St and in 1896 he became a gardener, living
at his parents residence at 15 leeds St. This was the same year his father bcame a florist. In 1900 he was listed as being a motorman. In 1901 Sidney was listed at being a 'presser' again.
