I think the mileage & monetary references were regarding the transportation of the body, as other entries revolved around this theme.

There are no other James Caswell's who lived in this period, and had a reason to be in Cherhill. This James' parents built Caswell's House in the village, so I am fairly sure I have logged this death entry against the right person.
