During the 1901 Census living at 1 Amity Place with her four childrenwhich was a Beer House and she was shewn as a widow aged 46
I was told that she worked at the Co-op Laundry in Plymouth by my mother

Found her in the 1891 Census living at No 3 Bedford Cottages which isabout 100 yards away from 1 Amity Place

Would hazard a guess seeing that Bessie was born in Aldershot that shewas married to someone in the Army
John H is listed as Harry in the 1901 Census and Bessie seems to havemarried and moved away
