"From what I was told, Roxanne came from her maternal great grandmother,Roxie Cathey and from her paternal grandmother's middle name Antha.Roxie Cathey died from the birth of Roxie's maternal grandfather.
"Presently a junior at Western Connecticut University in Danbury, CT.After college, she plans to teach science. Loves to sing and dance.Very actives in musicals, performing in high school, college, andcommunity theater groups.
"The only one of my children that remotely looks like the Floyd side ofthe family. A beautiful girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Ifeel she looks a lot like her Aunt Peggy.
"She was the only grandchild that her paternal grandmother ever knew.Mom was SO proud of Roxie.
"She grew up in White Bluff, Tennessee, about thirty miles west ofNashville. She moved to East Hartford, Connecticut in the seventh grade.
"She was born late Saturday night, 11:46pm after 26 hours of labor. Iwill be eternally grateful to her because she got me out of the 1978Clarksville Christmas Parade."
