Bond of Administration of the Goods of William Wallis Intestate Deceased.
At Sarum on the 19th Day of July 1825 Administration of the Goods and Chattels of the above-said Deceased was by the Reverend John Greenly Clk: M: A: lawful Surr. of the Revd. & Worshipful Chas. Daubeny Clk: L: L: D: Archdeacon of the Archdeaconry of Sarum granted and committed unto Mary Wallis Widow Relict of the said Deceased (being first duly Sworn) that the said Deceased died Intestate, and well and truly to Administer, and to exhibit true and perfect Inventory of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased, and yield a just and true Account when lawfully required) saving the Rights of all Person. Know all Then by these Presents that We Mary Wallis of Chitterne Saint Mary in the County of Wilts Widow, Isaac Wallis of the same place, Yeoman and Richard Moody of the City of New Sarum Dissenting Minister are held and firmly bound unto the Reverend and Worshipful Charles Daubeny Clerk Doctor of Laws & Archdeacon of the Archdeaconry of Sarum in the Sum of Five Thousand and Five Hundred Pounds of good and lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid unto the said Archdeacon or to his certain Attorney his Executors Administrators or Assigns To which Payment well and truly to be made We oblige ourselves and each of us by herself & himself severally for the whole our and each of our Heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by those Presents Sealed with our Seals dated the Nineteenth day of July in the fifth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Fourth by the Grace of God of the Untied Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the Faith, etc. And in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty five.
The Condition of this Obligation is such That the above bounden Mary Wallis Widow Relict and Administrator of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of William Wallis, aforesaid Intestate deceased, late of Chitterne Saint Mary deceased do make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the Hands Possession or Knowledge of her the said Mary Wallis or unto the Hands and Possession of any Person or Persons for and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the Archdeacon of Sarum (if registered) at or before the last day of October next ensuing and the same Goods Chattles and Credits and all other the Goods Chattles and Credits of the said deceased at the time of his death which at any time after shall some to the hands or Possession of the said Mary Wallis or into the hands and Possession of any other Person or Persons for her do well and truly administer according to Law And further do make or cause to be made a true and just Accompt of her said Administration at or before the last day of July 1826 (if reqd.) and all the Rest and Residue of the said Gods Chattles and Credits which shall be found remaining upon the said Administrators Accompt the same being first examined and allowed of by the Judge or Judges for the time being of the said Court shall deliver and pay unto such Person or Persons respectively as the said Judge or Judges by his or their Decree or Sentence pursuant to the true Intents and Meaning of a later Act of Parliament made in the two and twentieth and three and twentieth Years of the Reign of our late Sovereign Lord King Charles the Second intituled an Act for the better settling of Intestates Estates shall limit and appoint And if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased and the Executor or Executors therein named do exhibit the same into the said Court making Request to have it allowed and approved accordingly if the said Mary Wallis above bounden being thereunto required do render and deliver the said Letters of Administration (Approbation of such Testament being first had and made) in the said Court then this Obligation to be void or else to remain in Full Force and Virtue
